On trail performance of mountain bikes is advertised as a sum of the total components. That is to say if we assigned a max value of 10 to each component in your cockpit the equation would be: Handlebar 10 + Stem 10 + Headset spacing 10 + Grips 10 = 40 Total A handlebar with only 50% capacity for a rider would carry a 5 instead of a 10. Whether you’re rocking a brand new rig or something with a few years on the trail very few things are more annoying than mystery creaks. Isolating your creak is the first step. This is often difficult while riding as your pedals, saddle and handlebars are your input sources while your creak may be originating elsewhere and traveling through the frame. Project Am/Enduro: Complete Bike Build
We finally finished Project AM/Enduro. We wasted no time racing it either. As soon as the last wrench was turned we promptly put it to use in the Bootleg Banzai Enduro.
