When Custom is CUSTOM

The Bike Company was recently approached by a client with a very specific set of goals for his latest build up.  After a comprehensive consultation on application, rider skill set, and aspiration BikeCo found that there wasn’t an off the shelf option.  No problem.  We took an Ibis Tranny frame and went off.

You want to run a taper steer 34mm Fox BikeCo Pro Tune 115mm fork?  Let’s run a custom Chris King taper headset instead of the inset 1 1/8” lower – while we’re at it let’s work in the larger diameter Chris King upper bearing assembly as well.  You want to maximize absolute chassis stiffness?  Let’s bond the front and rear together (a trick from gate starts on the race course).  From there let’s take performance to the next level with Easton Havoc cockpit, Magura MT-6 brakes, Race Face SixC cranks, MRP Lopes Guide, Saint 10sp derailleur, Novatec Diablo wheelset and HT AE03 pedals.

Tailoring bikes to riders takes a refined skillset.  Custom building, race modding, spec’ing, and tuning aren’t learned in the back of any bike shop.  Whether you are working on your first mountain bike or want to custom spec a bike that doesn’t exist – Demand More with BikeCo.com

Enjoy the photos of BikeCo Master Mechanic Joe Binatena doing his thing.
This bike rides as good as it looks.
When it’s said you can’t – it’s time to talk to The Bike Company… 888.697.6717
