Interbike Day 1

Day 1

Bell’s new AM SUPER helmet with built in camera mount.

If you want to be like Gwin, they also had a sweet full carbon fiber with built in camera mount – Full 9.

Aside from the camera mount was the safety features employed in this helmet.  EMS friendly removable padding to remove the helmet from a downed riders head easier and safer in the case of a crash.

Just what you need for a secure, perfect shot.

Gotta love cut-aways.  DSP suspension had a few seatposts and shocks that had seen the blade for a deeper look.

Shimano had their new filled ICE TECH rotors out!  These should be perfect for brake heavy riders.

IXS new Cleaver body armor featured removable panels and arm protection, as well as being neck brace friendly.

IXS had some new colorways for the Metis helmet.

Their new knee pads both long and short look to be some great light weight full on protection.  Dagger on the left and the Cleaver on the right.

Azonic/Oneals answer to the flat pedal craze.

TRP’s new 2pc rotors for their new 4 piston brakes …. yes 4 piston TRP brakes.

Big boy brakes for big boy bikes – read that 4 pistons for lots of clamping force.

We are really digging this finish and hope it makes it to production.

Tioga’s spindless Zero pedals.

Rove hedsets and bottom brackets.  They came in a slew of colors.

Chris was out and about with the new One Ghost Industries Musashi DH1 for 2013.

The Musashi DH1 I beam seat mast and lower pivot looks so solid.

FREAKING INGENIOUS!  OGI used spare handlebar ends welded into the frame to place ODI bar ends used as the forks bump stops!

Box Components had a few bikes from different manufactures in there booth sporting the BOX and Promax brands.

BOX Components is getting ready to start distributing these new beauties soon… get ready cause once they hit the shelves they may not last very long.  What you don’t see is the Press Fit BB30 Bottom Bracket.

OH BIG axle rears on the new BMX bikes makes for a SOLID rear end.

Thats not the only thing big.  BOX’s new 31.8 bar and stem combo.

We also dug these clutch driven hubs from BOX, still in prototype form.  Degrees of engagement = zero = INSTANT!

Promax goods looked stellar at the show.  BMX cranks, stems, seat posts clamps, seats and more….all looked great.

Gravity’s new ICE colorway brings lots of shine to any bike.

But the big news coming from Gravity was the new Gradient Carbon cranks and the rest of the Gradient line.

Topeak had a great travel tool kit for the racers and mechanics – the new PrepStation.
