Who is Mybikestand?

Ian “WingNutt” Cook – , the nick name comes from my Dad who seems to think all my nuts, bolts and screws are only finger tight-bound to come loose!  I have spent most of my days on a bike.  Racing BMX in my early days and during my junior and senior years in high school I worked for a bike shop here in Las Vegas, Bicycle Depot.  Racing BMX, often traveling to nationals and soon a few road rides and races then the early days of Downhill and Dual Slalom.  As my son was able to ride a bike and became excited in BMX my enthusiasm began to only rise.  Now racing Mtn cross and trying to touch Downhill again, I am on the bike tearing up the mountain.  A small stable of bikes graces my garage that include BMX and Mtn bikes.  I have always felt that wheels belong below me.  I plan to keep it that way!

We are your average every day rider to your circuit racer.  Looking to get the best reviews out to you our readers.  We are focused on getting the newest parts and newest ideas and take a look back at others.  Progression is what todays sports strive at and that is something we here at mybikestand.com aim to achieve.  Most of what you will find here will be MTN bike related with some BMX and Roadbike bits here and there.  Don’t forget to check back often to see whats new and exciting!  Or sign up for our newsletter!!
